New York State Police Blotter – March 1, 2025
2/28/253:40 p.m.- On September 26, 2024, state police
investigated an obscenity complaint in the town of Ischua. On Friday, troopers
arrested Jacob D. Riley, 23, of Hinsdale. He was charged with twelve counts of
promoting a sexual performance by a child under age 17 (class D felonies) and twelve
counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child under the age of 16 (class
E felonies). He was released on his own recognizance.
2/28/25 8:53 p.m.- On October 28, 2024 in Amity,
state police investigated a larceny complaint. On Friday. Amity-based troopers
arrested Kaine D. Bunker, 27, of Olean. He was charged with felony grand
larceny involving property valued at more than $1,000. He was taken to the
Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
3/1/25 1:58 a.m.- On November 15, 2024 in the town of
Alfred, state police were called for a stolen vehicle. Early Saturday, troopers
arrested Ahmad J. McEntire, 44, of Buffalo. He was charged with felony grand
larceny of a motor vehicle. A court appearance is pending.
2/28/25 9:15 p.m.- After investigating a domestic
dispute in the town of Bath, state police arrested Jeffrey M. Lafler, 26, of
Jasper. He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, preventing an
emergency call aggravated harassments – threats. He was held.
3/1/25 2:31 a.m.- During a traffic stop in the city
of Hornell, state police arrested Baden S. Briggs, 23, of Hornell. He was
charged with driving while intoxicated – first offense. He’ll appear in court
at a later date.
