Allegany County Department of Health Will Be Focused on COVID-19 Vaccinations Putting Rapid Testing on Hold

The Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) is moving into COVID-19 Vaccination clinics for the second dose while still providing a first dose to those in Phase 1-B with available COVID-19 vaccine. The ACDOH will announce our plans for continuing rapid COVID-19 testing in Allegany County soon.

We would like to thank all the agencies, businesses, and staff that were vital to the success at our free drive-up rapid COVID-19 testing sites and our COVID-19 vaccination clinics including: the New York State Department of Health; Scio Central School (Jennifer Cappelletti, Dr. Cristy McKinley, Jayson Chandler, and Deb Fuller); Allegany County Department of Emergency Services (Jeff Luckey and Bonnie Van Housen); Medical Transport Services (Scott Lanphere and EMT’s); the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office (Sheriff Whitney, Cheryl Ralyea, and staff) the Allegany County Department of Social Services (Edna Kayes and staff); and the Allegany County Department of Health staff. A special thank you goes out to the residents of Allegany County. Thank you all for making the COVID-19 rapid testing sites and COVID-19 vaccination clinics a success and for your patience with ever changing guidelines.
