Born December 24, 1947, in Niagara Falls, she was the
daughter of Adrian and Lillian Crispell Young.
On April 2, 1977, in Lewiston, she married Donald L. Hockenberry, who
survives. A graduate of LaSalle High
School, she was employed as a cook by Niagara Cerebral Palsy in Lockport.
Surviving besides her husband, Donald, are: two brothers, Arthur (Peggy) Young of
Ransomville and James (Debbie) Young of Resaca, GA; a step-son, Donald Hockenberry of Altoona,
PA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a step-daughter, Tammy
Joe Hockenberry; and two brothers, Edward
Young and Craig Young.
Services will be private.
