Lewis M. Jackson, 67, of Hallsport, NY, peacefully passed
away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Hart Comfort House in Wellsville surrounded
by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 15, 1951, in Wellsville, he was
the son of Lewis A. and Anna Mae Geffers Jackson. On May 21, 1971, in Hallsport he married the
former Judy A. Sugden, who survives. A Vietnam
Veteran, he served honorably with the US Marine Corps from 1971 — 1973. He was employed by Dresser-Rand in Wellsville
for 40 years, retiring in 2013. Lewis
was a member of Morrison Hayes American Legion Post #702 in Wellsville and a
former member of the Wellsville VFW. Lew
enjoyed euchre, fantasy football, camping with family and friends, and country
music. Surviving besides his wife, Judy,
are: two sons, Christopher (Danielle)
Jackson of Peru, NY and Craig (Sandy) Jackson of Wellsville; six grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Ty,
Kayleigh, Tristan, and Dylan; two
sisters, Cheryl (James) Howland of Alfred Station and Jalea (Jeff) Flewellyn of
Wellsville; two brothers, Ronald (Joyce)
Jackson and Thomas (Deborah) Jackson, both of Wellsville; an uncle, Paul Geffers of TX; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was
predeceased by his parents. Friends may

from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with Funeral Services following at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Carl Knitter will
officiate. Military Rites will be
