Shinglehouse man jailed in strangulation case

Shinglehouse police early Tuesday report the arrest of Jeffrey D. Buchanan, 24, of Shinglehouse. He was charged by police with felony strangulation, felony aggravated assault and simple assault. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kari A. McCleaft at 3:15 a.m. he was remanded to Potter County Jail when he could post 10% of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 6th at 11 a.m.
