Obituary: Everett E. Mulkin Howard, 74, Friendship

FRIENDSHIP - Everett E. Mulkin Howard, 74, of 12 West Water St. passed away Saturday August 25, 2018 at his home, following a lengthy illness. Born December 9, 1943 in Cuba Hospital, Cuba, New York, he was the son of Everett and Eva I. Morton Mulkin. He was married to Judith A. McLaughlin in July 4, 1963 in Bradford who predeceased him on April 2, 1992 and then he married Clara L. Hosmer who also predeceased him on September 4, 2016.
Everett had grown up in Rushford where he attended Rushford Central School. For many years he was a fence erector in Rochester employed by Empire Fence Co. in Rochester. Over the years he built three houses; One in Shelby, New York and two in Scio, New York.
He enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. He loved building anything out of wood, doing woodcrafts and other wood products. He painted pictures of outdoor beauties, such as his projects. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are three sons, Tim E. (Peggy) Howard of Scio, Tony E. (Creecy) Howard of Wellsville and Thomas (Mae) Howard of Bermington, WA; a daughter, Tina E. (John) Reed of Bradford, PA.; a step daughter, Sara (Neel) Geswin of Scio; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; four sisters, Cheryl Fleming of Olean, Sonya Howard of Friendship, Connie Howell of Mesa, Arizona and Marilyn Goodliff of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.
Everett was predeceased by two brothers, Roy Howard and Richard Howard; and a sister, Eva "Peg" Howard.
 There will be no visitations or funeral. Family will conduct a graveside memorial service at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar. Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship. Memorials may be directed to the Allegany Co. SPCA.
