From my many years as a member of the Republican Committee
through my tenure as an Allegany County Legislator, I have enjoyed the pleasure
of being associated Sheriff Rick
Whitney. Sheriff Whitney has performed
in an outstanding manner in the administration of the Sheriff's Department and
protecting the safety and rights of Allegany County Citizens.
I have great respect for his communications skills, his
negotiation skills, and his patience with ill informed bureaucrats. I have not found him lacking
in any of these areas.
I have heard him referred to as a "Constitutional
Sheriff ". He has protected our citizens from over reaches by
bureaucrats. It is important to retain
our local rights and prevent non-elected bureaucrats from enforcing their own
unofficial regulations. It is important to have Sheriff Whitney as Allegany County Sheriff.
I urge everyone to vote on Primary day, September 13th, and
to vote for a Sheriff who shares our values and views. Vote for
RICK WHITNEY.
