Allegany County: Shinglehouse teen dies in Alma vehicle crash

A Shinglehouse teenager died when the vehicle he was operating crashed on County Road 38 near Dutton Hollow Road in the town of Alma. Wellsville ambulance, Alma fire and state troopers all responded to the scene. Responders received the call shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday but authorities believe the crash occurred sometime Friday. The vehicle had crashed over an embankment. Dalton Lee Osgood, 18, of Shinglehouse was pronounced dead at the scene.
