No jail time for Friendship man who killed three dogs

A Friendship man will not go to jail after he killed three dogs that were family pets. According to a press release from the Allegany County District Attorney's office, Judge Terry Parker sentenced Raymond Hadsell, 47, to a one year conditional discharge. Hadsell was also fined $450 and must pay $600 in surcharges. The incident happened last June on Steenrod Road in Friendship. Originally charged with three felony counts, Hadsell pleaded guilty today to three misdemeanor counts of aggravated cruelty to animals - misdemeanor counts.
