Judge ruling overturns player kicked out of Section V basketball game

BLOOMFIELD — A ruling by a local town judge could allow players ejected from games or suspended by schools to play in the following games, even during sectional and state playoffs.
A judge overruled a long-standing Section V rule that does not allow a player or coach removed or ejected from a game to play or coach in the next game. If an ejection occurs during the last game of a season, the one-game suspension is carried over to the next sport in which the player participates. If a player only plays one sport, he or she has to sit out the first game the following year. Read the rest of the story HERE.
