Wellsville police Blotter

Date: November 5, 2017

Wellsville Police arrested Andrew A. Rodriguez, age 28 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Unnecessary Smoke.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on West State Street in the Village.  Rodriguez was processed and released to a third party.  Rodriguez is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 14th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Shawn A. Mang, age 45 of Yorkshire, NY, charging him with AUO 2nd (Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd) and Inadequate/No Muffler.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on the Genesee Parkway in the Village.  Mang was arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Judge Walsh.  Mang was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $750.00 cash bail.  Mang is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 7th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Michael T. Marino, age 72 of Wellsville, charging him with trespass.  The charge stems from a complaint made by the Giant Food Mart in Wellsville.  Marino was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Marino is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 14th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Richard P. Black, age 56 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI (Felony), DWI w/BAC of .08% or more (Felony) and AUO 1st (Felony – Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st).  The charges stem from a traffic stop on N Main Street in the Village.  Black was processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Judge Walsh.  Black was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 property bond.  Black is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 7th at 4:30 p.m.

Date: Friday November 3, 2017
Wellsville Police arrested Christopher L. Torpey, age 34 of Wellsville, charging him with Harassment 2nd.  The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Main Street on October 25th.  Torpey was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Torpey was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 21st at 4:30 p.m.
