For 35 years, Cindy Jefferds greeted you with a smile at Texas Hot in Wellsville

"Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother" 
Cindy L. Jefferds, of Scio, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 shortly after arrival in Jones Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving husband and family, following a lengthy illness. 
Born January 1, 1956, in Cuba, she was the daughter of Maurice and Barb Fuller Middaugh. On July 4, 2012, she married Phillip D. "Ooggie" Middaugh, Jr., who survives. 
Cindy started working as a waitress at the Texas Hot in 1981 and continued to work there for 35 years, retiring in 2016 due to her illness. She was a very dedicated mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and going to family gatherings. 
Along with her loving husband, Cindy is survived by: her mother, Barb Taylor of Wellsville; four children, Robert G. "Bob" (Sheryl) Jefferds and Brian D. (Tina) Jefferds both of Wellsville, Andrew D. (Christine) Jefferds of Stannards, and Jennifer L. (Jacob) Fonseca of Raceland, LA; 13 grandchildren, Damian, Miranda, Shelvy, Bailey, Dakota, Isaiah, Nathan, Trenton, Logan, Megan, Hailey, Hanna, and Dacora; and four siblings, Darlene (Rocky) Ford of Greenwood, Tammy of Scio, Jimmy Middaugh of Belmont, and John Taylor of Wellsville. 
A Gathering will be held at Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville on Wednesday, November 22nd from 3:00 -- 7:00 p.m. There will be no funeral services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com.
