Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Sunday July 16, 2017
Wellsville Police arrested Samique A. Carson, age 25 of Cheektowaga, charging her with AUO 3rd (Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd), Operating while Registration Suspended or Revoked and Moved from Lane Unsafely.  The charges stem from a traffic stop on State Rte. 19 in the Village of Wellsville.  Carson was issued traffic citations and released.  Carson is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 25th at 4:30 p.m.

Date: Saturday July 15, 2017
Wellsville Police arrested Justin M. Fuller, age 33 of Wellsville, charging him with Petit Larceny and Trespass.  The charges stem from an incident that took place at the Giant Food Mart in Wellsville. Fuller was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Fuller is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 25th at 4:30 p.m.

Friday July 14, 2017
Wellsville Police arrested Luis A. Fernandez, age 34 of Wellsville, on an Arrest Warrant from the City of Hornell Court for Vehicle and Traffic Violations. Fernandez was processed and turned over to the City of Hornell Police. Fernandez is due to appear in the City of Hornell Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Anastasia M. Bacon, age 58 of Wellsville, charging her with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D Felony) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D Felony). The charges stem from an investigation into the alleged illegal sale of narcotics in the Village of Wellsville. Bacon was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor. Bacon was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 property bond. Bacon is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (C-NET).

Wellsville Police arrested Brandon J. Murray, age 24 of Wellsville, charging him with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 4th (Class C Felony) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Class D Felony). The charges stem from an investigation into the alleged illegal sale of narcotics in the Village of Wellsville. Murray was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor. Murray was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 property bond. Murray is due back in Wellsville Village Court on August 1st at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (C-NET).
