Donald Richard “Dick” Haskins, 83, of Cordes Junction, AZ,
formerly of Wellsville, NY, died Thursday, June 1, 2017. Born July 14, 1933, in Genesee, PA, he was
the son of George A. and H. Ione Easton Haskins. He attended Genesee High School and achieved
his G.E.D. in Phoenix, AZ in 1953. He
enlisted in the US Air Force on September 7, 1951 and served honorably at Luke
AFB, AZ, Elmendorf AFB, AK, King Salmon AFB, AK, and Charleston AFB, SC. In October of 1952, he married Annie Gertrude
Pelham, who predeceased him. In October
of 1990, he married Christina Griffin Rombough, who predeceased him. In February of 2004, he married Betty Jean
Kemp, who predeceased him. Surviving
are: a daughter, Debra Ann Gomez of
Cordes Junction, AZ, four grandchildren, Richard Eugene Beeson of Anchorage,
AK, Roxanna Leighann Wynn of El Mirage, AZ, April Mills of Springfield, CO, and
John Harris of Monroe, MI; eleven great
grandchildren; a sister Daisy M. Elliott
of Genesee, PA; two brothers, James A.
(Pauline) Haskins of Parker FL, William I. (Mary Jane) Haskins of Ulysses,
PA; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wives, he was
predeceased by his stepmother, Rosetta Haskins;
a daughter Bridgett Lynn Harris;
and a brother, George Lee Haskins.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in
the church that he attended, Spring Valley Community Church, Spring Valley,
