Livingston County District Attorney Report for June 27, 2017

After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on June 27, 2017.

JOHN J. ANSON, age 40, of Rush was sentenced on a conviction of charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (E Felony), Driving While Intoxicated (D Felony), and Refusal to Submit to a Field Screening Test to 1 year in jail and 5 years probation. He was also ordered to pay a $520 surcharge and a $50 DNA fee.

RACHEL E. COLE, age 28, of W. Virginia, charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (C Felony), Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer Third Degree (Misdemeanor), Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree (Misdemeanor), Reckless Driving (Misdemeanor), Failure to Use Signal and Unlicensed Operator, appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to August 21, 2017.

NICHOLAS R. FINCH, age 38, of Dansville was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (B Felony) to 3 years in state prison plus 3 years post-release supervision. He was also ordered to pay surcharges and a $50 DNA fee.

STEFFAN JK HAMPSHIRE, age 22, of Nunda, charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (C Felony) and Inadequate Exhaust, appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned to August 8, 2017.

LON F. JARRELL, age 62, of Lima, charged with Driving While Intoxicated (E Felony), Driving with .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol in His Blood (E Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (E Felony), Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Keep Right, appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned to August 8, 2017.

KYLE A. KIBLER, age 20, of Mt. Morris, pled guilty to Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) and the matter was adjourned to August 1, 2017 for sentencing.

EDWARD C. LEBAR, age 53, of Dansville was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree (D Felony), Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree (E Felony), Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Misdemeanor), and Petit Larceny (Misdemeanor). He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to August 29, 2017.

JADE L. LAFORCE, age 24, of Canaseraga, charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D Felony) and Inadequate Exhaust, appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to July 11, 2017.

ELTON R. SANDERS, JR., age 20, of Rochester was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (B Felony) to 6 months in jail and 5 years probation. He was also ordered to pay restitution, a $50 DNA fee, and his license was suspended.
