State Route 417

The New York State Department of Transportation today
announced that pavement recycling work will begin on state Route 417 on
Thursday, June 22, 2017, weather permitting.
The project will extend from 1.3 miles west of state Route 248 to 2.0
miles west of state Route 36, for a total of approximately 6.5 miles. The scope of this project includes work in
the towns of Jasper and Greenwood in Steuben County.
An asphalt overlay course will be placed in the same
location at a later time, weather permitting.
A new advisory will be issued at that time.
Motorists will encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience
travel delays. It is imperative that
motorists remember to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge
construction zones they will encounter this season.
