French, who was being released from the Cattaraugus
County Jail was picked up by Deputies and transported back to the Sheriff’s
Office where he was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail
without bail. French will reappear in Allegany County Court at a later date for
additional court action.

Wellsville man charged with violating probation
Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that
on June 21st, 2017 Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office with the
assistance of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Michael R.
French, age 39 of Wellsville on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of
Allegany County Court.
