Three charged in Steuben County crimes

A six month investigation into multiple residential burglaries in the Towns of Woodhull, Troupsburg, and Jasper has resulted in multiple charges against three subjects, and the recovery of a large quantity of stolen property, including a hand gun and several long guns.  N.Y.S. Troopers from N. Hornell and Wayland, in conjunction with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) have charged the following subjects:
- Zachary L. Barber,  27; 190 Potterbrook Rd., Westfield, Pa. Burglary, 2nd – class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th (hand gun) – class A misdemeanor, Petit Larceny – class A misdemeanor.
- Christopher M. Sutton; 23; 4308 Ct. Rt. #24, Cameron Mills, N.Y. Burglary, 2nd – class C Felony, Burglary, 3rd – class D Felony.
-  Mark J. Walton, 45; 3360 Highup Rd., Jasper, N.Y., Burglary, 2nd – class C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th (convicted felon – long guns) – class A misdemeanor.
 All were arraigned in local criminal court and remanded to the Steuben Co. Jail on $20,000.00 cash bail/$40,000.00 property bond.  The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are pending.  Anyone with additional information is asked to call the New York State Police at 607-776-6866 or 585-728-5007.
