Shirley A. Grove, 69, of Rte. 6, Ulysses, PA, died
Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in her home.
Born January 25, 1948, in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of Crossman
Seymour and Emily Mulinosky Robinson.
She was raised by her mother and step-father, Lawrence Young. On March 30, 1996, in Pine Creek Valley
United Methodist Church, Gaines, PA, she married Donald J. Grove, who
survives. Shirley was employed as a
bookkeeper and accountant for over 30 years and was a dairy farmer for many
years. Her employers included, Dresser
Mfg. in Wellsboro, Abbott Township, and Bailey Excavating. She was a member of Pine Creek Valley United
Methodist Church, Gaines, PA. Shirley
loved her grandchildren, horses, gardening, and reading. Surviving besides her husband, Donald, are: a daughter, Barbara Jane (Eric) Pitchford of
Pittsburgh, PA; four step-children,
Denese (William) Walters of Ulysses, Lynne (William) Campbell of Galeton, Diane
(Jeff) Palmatier of Genesee, and Darryl (Lori) Grove of Elizabethtown, PA; 16 grandchildren, Tiffany Clark, Amber
Magarigal, Derek Palmatier, Aaron Palmatier, Justin Campbell, Julie Hurlbert,
Brian Campbell, Michelle McCutcheon, Janelle Grove, Heather Grove, Jordan
Pitchford, Cameron Pitchford, Julie Cimino, Billy King, Lisa Gladfelter, and Mike
Campbell; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maryjean (Wayde) Campbell of
Bradenton, FL. There will be no
visitation or service. Memorials may be
