Almond - Daryl L. Tinker, 57, of Chapel St., passed away
Wednesday (May 31, 2017) at Jones Memorial Hospital. Born in North Hornell, NY, November 14, 1959,
the son of Richard and Eleanor Carnes Tinker, he had resided in the Hornell and
Almond area his whole life. Daryl loved to ride motorcycles especially Harley
Davidson’s. He loved his children more than anything else, when you saw Daryl,
he almost always had one of his children with him. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Thompson
Tinker of Almond, 1 son; Christopher (Brandy Owens) of Salisbury, North
Carolina, 2 daughters; Jean (Brandon) Treat of Pilot, North Carolina and Tonia
(Eric Pyer) Tinker still at home, 1 granddaughter; Nevaeh Tinker of Salisbury,
North Carolina, 2 brothers; Dale Tinker of Hornell and Dennis (Susan) Tinker of
Canisteo, 2 sisters; Judy Smith of Hornell and Lois Mansfield of Leroy, his

Ames, Director. The family will be
present from 12-2p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Bender - Brown &
Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Funeral services will be held
immediately following calling hours at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery, Canisteo. A luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Elks
Club in Hornell following the burial. The family kindly request casual attire.
