Wyoming County Sheriff's Blotter

Wyoming County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of Raymond Frawley, 37 of Angelica on a Family Court Warrant for Failure to Obey a Family Court Support Order.  Sheriff’s Deputies located Frawley on a tip from their “Warrant Wednesday” Program on Facebook.  A tip was given that reported the location of Raymond Frawley who was then arrested by Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, and turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.  Frawley was taken in front of Justice Errington of the Town of Warsaw Court and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail.

John D. Carpenter, 65 of Warsaw, was arrested following multiple alleged threatening and alarming phone calls to the Wyoming County 911 Center.  According to a press statement, Carpenter made repeated 911 calls on February 15, 2017 reporting that people were going to die, among other alarming statements.  Carpenter told dispatchers at one point that he continued to call 911 because he was bored.  Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Carpenter’s residence where he refused to come to the door.  Deputies obtained a warrant of arrest for Carpenter from the Village of Warsaw Court, returned to Carpenter’s residence, made entry and took Carpenter into custody without incident.  Carpenter, a convicted violent felon, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.  Carpenter was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court where bail was set at $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 bond.  Carpenter was scheduled to return to the Village of Warsaw Court on March 6, 2017 to answer the charges.  Warsaw Police Department assisted at the arrest scene.
