John D. Carpenter, 65 of Warsaw, was arrested following
multiple alleged threatening and alarming phone calls to the Wyoming County 911
Center. According to a press statement,
Carpenter made repeated 911 calls on February 15, 2017 reporting that people were
going to die, among other alarming statements.
Carpenter told dispatchers at one point that he continued to call 911
because he was bored. Wyoming County
Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Carpenter’s residence where he refused to come
to the door. Deputies obtained a warrant
of arrest for Carpenter from the Village of Warsaw Court, returned to
Carpenter’s residence, made entry and took Carpenter into custody without
incident. Carpenter, a convicted violent
felon, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree and
Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.
Carpenter was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court where bail was
set at $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 bond.
Carpenter was scheduled to return to the Village of Warsaw Court on
March 6, 2017 to answer the charges.

Wyoming County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of
Raymond Frawley, 37 of Angelica on a Family Court Warrant for Failure to Obey a
Family Court Support Order. Sheriff’s
Deputies located Frawley on a tip from their “Warrant Wednesday” Program on
Facebook. A tip was given that reported
the location of Raymond Frawley who was then arrested by Deputies from the
Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, and turned over to the Wyoming County
Sheriff’s Office. Frawley was taken in
front of Justice Errington of the Town of Warsaw Court and remanded to the
Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail.
