Obituary: Thomas Michael McLaughlin, 71, Cuba

Thomas Michael McLaughlin, 71, of 141 West Main Street, Cuba, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on December 13, 1945, in Cuba, he was a son of Thomas and Nina Polvino McLaughlin.  In 1973 he married the former Wendy Estabrook who predeceased him on March 5, 1990. 
Mike was a graduate of the former Cuba High School Class of 1963, and Jamestown Community College.
He served in the United States Navy.  After that he had worked for Moonwinks, West Valley Nuclear Services, the Seneca Allegany Casino and at one time was a salesman for Mastel Ford in Olean.
Some of his favorite hobbies included bird watching, fishing, and antiquing.  But most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his children Adam (Casey) McLaughlin ofCalifornia, Ryan (Kristin Harripaul) McLaughlin of Georgia, Dannee (Patrick Chesney) McLaughlin of Friendship; a brother, Pat (Kathy) McLaughlin of Jamestown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife and parents. Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at which time a Memorial Service will be held.  The Rev. Dennis J.J.
