Bureau Director Linda Edwards pre-filed her monthly report. Ms. Edwards wanted to highlight a couple of
items on her monthly report under the “OCFS billing.” They have paid all of their agencies,
resubmitted for reimbursement, and we are at a zero balance, so we received all
of our money from New York State. At
their January conference call, we were recognized as one of the eight counties
that had a zero balance for 2016.

Edwards wanted to read an email she received from Youth Development Specialist
Crystal Jones from the Office of Children and Family Services, it read “I
have just reviewed your county plan, and I just wanted to personally tell you
what a superb job you have done. Your
plan is so detailed and really demonstrated how you are utilizing all resources
to promote positive youth development.”
