Born April 13, 1943, in Barnesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Stanley and Marie Beltowski Gisler.
On March 16, 1962, in Wellsboro, PA, she married Larry G. Knapp, who survives.
She was employed by the federal government in Washington, DC and by Alpha Broadcasting in Williamsport, PA. She and her husband owned and operated Larry’s Sports Center for many years.
Beverly enjoyed keeping in touch with Facebook and was a very giving person. She loved being outdoors with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband, Larry, are: two daughters, Cheryl (Wesley M.) Main and Laura (Wayne) Bennett, both of Galeton; three grandchildren, Jordan (Lauren) Main, Stefanie (Jason) Ives, and Kelsey Bennett; five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Weston, Maverick, Hailey, and Jake; a sister, Eileen (Dalton “Jim”) Fulton of Erie, PA; two sisters-in-law, Carol Gisler of Warren, MI and Janet Gisler of Gallitzin, PA; nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Lisa Mattison of Wellsboro. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene Gisler and her twin, Jerome Gisler.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
