Fillmore man sent to prison for stealing telephone cable

An Allegany County man is headed to state prison. Joseph A. Palma, 30, of South Genesee Street was convicted in court Wednesday of felony 4th degree grand larceny. Prosecutors said Palma stole $2,127 worth of telephone cable from Frontier Communications in Hume of July 2, 2016. Judge Thomas Brown sentenced Palma to a prison term of 1-3 years, which will run concurrently with unrelated charges in Livingston County.
