Belfast man faces felony drug charges

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on January 31st, 2017 following a lengthy investigation regarding illegal narcotics possession and sales of heroin in the Village of Cuba, Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Caleb A. Logue, age 21 of Belfast, on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment Warrant. 
Logue was charged with (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and (1) count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, both class B felonies.

The arrest stems from an incident in which Logue allegedly sold illegal narcotics to an agent of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit in the Village of Cuba.
Logue was processed and transported to the Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and then remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 bond.  Logue is to reappear in Allegany County Court on March 9th, 2017 for additional court action.
