Obituary: Donald “Dude” METCALF, 55, of Westfield, PA

Donald “Dude” METCALF, 55, of Westfield, PA, died Saturday, November 30, 2024 at his home.  Born January 14, 1969, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Wayne R. “Tiny” and Connie L. Schoonover Metcalf.  On July 4, 1989, in Westfield, he married Mistie L. Proctor, who survives.  A 1987 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he was employed as a truck driver for 11 years and was last employed by PennDOT as a heavy equipment operator.  An outdoorsman, Dude enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time with his grandchildren.  Surviving besides his wife, Mistie, are: two children, Sheena M. Metcalf of Westfield and Douglas J. Metcalf of Addison, NY; three grandchildren; Anthony, Rebekkah, and Hannah; father-in-law, James Proctor of Galeton; brother-in-law, Bradley Proctor of Galeton; aunts, Patricia Metcalf and Judy (Don) Backer, both of Westfield; an uncle, LeRoy Schoonover, Jr. of Eldred; and cousins.  He was predeceased by his parents; and a grandson, Steven.  Friends may call at People’s Church of Potter Brook, 62 Rte. 49, Westfield, PA 16950 on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 3:00 PM.  Rev.
