Dr. Axtell has been a pillar of our orthopedic team, delivering compassionate care and expertise to countless patients throughout his career.

A proud graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine (MD) and Johns Hopkins University (BS), Dr. Axtell completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the renowned Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. His passion for improving the lives of others has left a lasting impact on Jones Memorial Hospital and this community.

Dr. Axtell, your dedication, skill, and care have truly made a difference. We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. You will be greatly missed!
