Obituary: Donald F. HALL, Jr., 73, of Wellsville
Donald F. HALL, Jr., 73, of Wellsville, NY, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 in his home. Born March 8, 1951, in Wellsville, he was the son of Donald F. and Dorothy J. Rarick Hall. On August 21, 1982, in Alma, he married Debra S. Winans, who survives. A 1971 graduate of Wellsville High School, he attended Breeden’s Welding School in Genesee, PA. He worked many masonry jobs in the area with Laborers Local #621. Don was also employed by L.C. Whitford, Pike, Otis Eastern, Air Preheater, and worked on offshore well drilling rigs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tinkering on equipment, and racoon hunting. Surviving besides his wife, Debra, are: four children, Crystal Childs of Olean, Melissa (Ronald) Gardner of Friendship, Cassie (Michael) Dennis of Canisteo, and Curtis (Sara Brassell) Hall of Wellsville; twelve grandchildren, Wade, Ronald Jr., Bethany, Damien, Derric, Tristan, Logan, Adriana, Marissa, Makayla, Hunter, and Lyric; two brothers, Dennis Hall and Glenn (Cindy) Hall, both of Alma; three sisters, Gloria (Bill) Hamlin of Wellsville, Diane (Loren) Caward of Andover, and Denise Perkins of Cuba; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald Hall and Vernon Hall. Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory. Burial will be in Hallsport Cemetery on a later date.
