On Wednesday, May 8, the church will host a free noon community missions luncheon at The Carter House, 37 East Main Street.

The second Monday of the month gathering will feature Matthew (Mateo) Hess, who will discuss how a Christian school, which was started over 30 years ago by his father-in-law pastor in Colombia, with only 34 pupils, ministers in an impoverished area of Bogota.
