Wellsville property has new owner
Employee Services at 55 Chamberlain Street has vanished post
pandemic and now Allegany County government intents to purchase the property
for $270,000, according to a county legislator. The property will be transferred
to Community Services which helps the medical and mental help services of patient.
A legislator told WRN that “it will be a benefit for the village and town of
Wellsville.” The property is valued at $241,700…but when the deal, the county
will pay NO property tax. Taxes lost include
-school $3882,75
-Village $3,158.10
-County$3,542.19
A county legislator told us there will be much improved
benefit.
