Wellsville/Alfred radio station sold to Family Life Network, part of a larger deal

In the near future, there will likely be one less country music radio station in Allegany County. Multiple media reports provided to Wellsville Regional News say that WZKZ/KZ-102 "The Ride," is being sold to Family Life Network, the regional Christian broadcaster. According to media reporter Scott Fybush, "in Alfred (Wellsville), Sound’s WZKZ (101.9) will go to Family Life under new calls WCOQ – and in Olean, WUDE will change city of license again. After Colonial moved it into Olean as a Portville-licensed signal, FLN will take over the 96.7 facility, moving it over the state line to Bradford, Pennsylvania as WCOR.

Family Life’s radio network airs contemporary Christian music, Biblical teaching, kids programs, and news from a Biblical worldview on nearly 70 radio outlets in New York and Pennsylvania. Family Life also can be heard online, and knowing listeners appreciate musical variety, has customized several other online music streams - Rock, Urban, Light Jazz, Southern Gospel, Instrumental and more - all within the Christian genre.
