Wayne married Marcella Fry on November 23, 1955. They made their home in Angelica, NY. Wayne was employed at Worthington (Dresser-Rand) in Wellsville until the retired in 1995.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Jeaneane) Finnemore of Angelica, his daughter Teresa (James) Claypool of West Almond; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren; as well as five brothers and five sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother “Billy”, and his wife, Marcella.
Funeral Services were held on December 8, 2020 at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home in Angelica, conducted by Rev. Stephen Crowell. Burial was in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica, where he rests with his loving wife.

Obituary: H. Wayne Finnemore, 87, Angelica
H. Wayne Finnemore, 87, of County Rd 15 in Angelica passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Highland Park Care Facility in Wellsville after a short stay. He was born March 15, 1933 in Cuba, NY, the son of Horton E. Finnemore and Thedra C. Hile Finnemore, he was the oldest of twelve children.Wayne served in the Army during the Korean War, where he earned the Occupational Medal Germany, National Defense Service, the Good Conduct Medals. He was a Legionnaire and long time member of the Hill Warner Post 414 in Angelica.
