On Saturday, the Andover Police Department arrested Tyler W. Cowburn, 26, of Andover after a traffic stop in the Village of Andover. Police Chief Jim Rumfelt said Tyler was stopped for speeding on Chestnut Street in the Village and it was determined the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen out of the Village of Wellsville. Tyler was charged with DWI, DWAI-Alcohol, Aggravated unlicensed operation- 2nd degree alcohol, speed in zone (62 MPH in a 40 MPH Zone) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree (Class E Felony). Wellsville Police assisted at the scene. Tyler was issued tickets returnable to Andover Village Court and turned over to the Wellsville Police Department.
