9/15/20- Five Erie County teenagers are
facing criminal charges stemming from a larceny complaint filed August 31st
in the Town of Rushford. Charged by Troopers with conspiracy 6th - three
16-year-old boys from Williamsville, and a boy, age 16, from East Amherst. Charged
with petit larceny and conspiracy- a 17-year-old boy from Williamsville and a
16-year old youth from East Amherst.

1:02pm- State police
arrested Ricky C. Deming, 29, of Scio. He was charged with two counts each of
menacing with a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. He was issued an
appearance ticket for Town of Scio court.

State Police arrested 21-year-old Joshua W. Smith of Wellsville. He was charged with felony second-degree burglary. Troopers investigating a report of a break-in and theft at a residence on County Road 18 in the town of Scio determined Smith had been living in the home of another person while they were out of town without permission and had removed items from that home. Smith was arrested and arraigned in Allegany County Court, where he was remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. He is due to reappear in that court later this month.

9:40pm- Canisteo-based
State Police conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Hornellsville. As a result,
Troopers arrested Michael J. Hamilton, 54, of Alfred Station. He was charged
with driving while intoxicated and having a blood alcohol content above .08%.
He will answer the charges in Hornellsville Town Court at a later date.
