Born February 13, 1959, he was the son of Kennard E. “Shorty” and Irene M. Romig Goss. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1976 – 1979. He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic by L.C. Whitford in Wellsville. Steve was a member of American Legion Post #530 in Shinglehouse.
Surviving are: his companion of over 30 years, Pamela Palmer; four brothers, Ken E. “Jr.” (Linda) Goss of Mabton, WA, Michael A. Goss of Olean, Lester H. (Alicia) Goss of Coudersport, and Toby J. (Nicole) Goss of Millport; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends may call at The First Baptist Church of Ulysses on Thursday, January 16, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Parker Hill Cemetery, Sunderlinville, with Military Rites accorded by members of the Potter County Honor Guard.
