The Wellsville Town Board met Wednesday night but did not address the issue of relocation. Town Supervisor Shad Alsworth said before the meeting that "the issue of relocation will not be publicly addressed until at least October."
Earlier this week, Alsworth signaled that the town was giving serious thought to leaving the Municipal Building. On Monday, the village board voted to exit the Municipal Building and move its offices to the 23 North Building, which is the former Burrous Building which is currently being renovated. The town opted not to join the village saying there wasn't enough space for both local governments at the new location.
