During the November General Election in Allegany County, there were actually five races where there was no candidate. Those races came down to the person who received the highest number of write-in ballots. The following results remain unofficial, according to the Board of Elections website:

Chris Perkins appears to be the top write-in
vote getter to fill a three-year term on the Willing town board. He obtained 42
unofficial votes

In the Town of Scio, the unofficial new Justice
is Elias Farah with 10 votes.

In the town of Birdsall, David Mawn appears ready to service on the town council with 10 write-in votes.
·
In Alma, there was no endorsed candidate for
justice. Unofficial results show Cheryl Dannheim capturing the most write-in
votes, with 13.
·
In the race to fill a vacancy on the town board
in Allen, there doesn’t appear to be an immediate winner. Only two votes were
cast.
