Steuben OFA to receive $47K

BATH -- Senior citizens in Steuben County will receive a boost in services, thanks to a $47,000 grant to the county Office for the Aging. County OFA Director Patty Baroody told the county Legislature’s Human Services, Health and Education Committee recently the agency will receive $47,179 in New York State Office for the Aging) Unmet Need Funding. The funds will be used "to ease the burden of our waiting lists for home care and respite and the ever-increasing demand for transportation," Baroody told the committee. The funds will be divided between the Institute for Human Services, AIM and other respite and home services, Baroody said.
