Allegany County Office of Planning to Host Workshop on LED Streetlights and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for Municipalities on August 7

BELMONT – The Allegany County Office of Planning will host a workshop on NYSEG and RG&E incentives that are available to municipalities interested in installing LED streetlights and Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations on Wednesday, August 7, at the Crossroads Center at 3 p.m. 
Elected municipal officials and their staff are invited to attend this workshop, which will last approximately one hour, to learn more about the substantial savings available to taxpayers and optimized services available.
Presenters at this workshop will include Jim Bittker, an experienced energy efficiency and clean energy solutions consultant who has worked as an Outreach Specialist for a NYSERDA, and Bill Gauthier, CEO of JACOMB Lighting and past president of the American Association of Energy Engineers Western New York.
