Troopers:Steuben parolee found with loaded assault rifle, handgun and Meth

John A. Dellapenna

On September 12, 2018,  New York State Police arrested John A. Dellapenna, age 30, of Howard, NY, charging him with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th. According to State Police Investigator Brandon Beers...Dellapenna, a convicted felon, was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded Glock 9mm handgun containing a 30 round magazine, a loaded AR-15 assault rifle containing a 30 round magazine and a quantity of methamphetamine.  Dellapenna was arraigned in the village of Bath Court and remanded to jail without bail.  In addition, Dellapenna’s parole was violated by New York State Parole.  The New York State Police were assisted by the Village of Canisteo Police Department and New York State Parole.
