Today at approximately 4:00 p.m. Cuba Police arrested a youthful offender on charges of criminal mischief 3rd (felony). The offender was processed and released to appear in court at a later date. This youthful offender is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. These charges stem from an incident in which this offender allegedly caused damage in excess of $250.00 to village of Cuba property at a village park. The Cuba Police Department would like to remind the public that there are cameras in all of our parks and to use sound judgment if you are contemplating causing damage at any of these locations.
