Robert E. “Bobby” Wonderling, 61, of Wellsville, NY, died
Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY after a
long illness. Born July 21, 1957, in
Wellsville, he was the son of Robert D. and Florence Buckley Wonderling. A graduate of Wellsville Central School, he
was employed by Nick’s Lanes in Wellsville, Transit Lanes in Buffalo, owned and
operated Subo’s Restaurant and The Main Street Restaurant in Wellsville, and
was a chef at Better Days, Wellsville Manor, and Highland Park Health and
Rehabilitation Center. Bob bowled on the
professional tour, bowling many 300 games.
He was an avid golfer. He loved
his dogs, Shannon and Knuckles, and his beloved cats. Surviving are: four siblings, Michael W. (Debra) Wonderling
of Wellsville, Joseph K. (Mary Ann) Wonderling of Rochester, Teresa W.
(Kenneth) Cline of Wellsville, and Edward D. (Brooke) Wonderling of
Wellsville; nieces and nephews, Mike,
Brady, Jeremy, Megan, Jerad, Andrew, Jade, Bradley, Brittany, Hannah, and
Madyson; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He
was predeceased by his parents. Friends
may call at Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville on Wednesday, September
26, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with a Memorial Service following at 2:00 PM.
