Phyllis J. Mitterer, 87, of Coudersport, PA, died Tuesday,
September 18, 2018 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born May 31, 1931, in Monongahela, PA, she
was the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Marcin Lukach. On October 25, 1953, in Clairton, PA, she
married Marion E. “Jack” Mitterer, who survives. A graduate of Elizabeth High School in
Elizabeth, PA, she was employed at Sypolt’s Motel in Cross Fork for ten years
and at Ole Bull State Park for ten years. Phyllis was a member of All Saints
Episcopal Church in Brookland, PA.
Surviving besides her husband, Jack, are: two sons, Joseph (Cathy) Mitterer of Albers,
IL and Christopher Mitterer of Munderf, PA;
three grandchildren, Sarah (Eric) Lindow, Candace (Todd Moore) Mitterer,
and Jeremiah Mitterer; five
great-grandchildren, Paige Kellerman, Ella Kellerman, Gwendelyn Lindow, Renley
Lindow, and Cullen Lindow; nieces,
nephews, and cousins. She was
predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Edwards and Andrea Boden. Friends may call Friday, September 21, 2018
from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Olney Funeral Home & Cremation

will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church, Brookland, PA.
