Travel Advisory - I-86 Campbell Rest Area Closed Beginning August 7th

The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that, on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, the Campbell Rest Area located on the east bound side of Interstate 86 in the town of Campbell will be closed for replacement of a backup generator. Work is expected to be completed prior to the weekend.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
