...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
10 inches are expected.
* WHERE...The western Southern Tier.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Friday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, including during the morning commute on Friday.
Gusty winds and wet heavy snow could cause tree branches to
fall. Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel
conditions.
