ROULETTE---Teresa A. “Sis” Emig, 55, of Roulette, formerly
of York City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Cole
Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.
Born on March 4, 1962 in York, she was a daughter of Paul
Schnieder and Joan Knouse Holiday.
Teresa was a graduate of William Penn High School in York
City. She formerly had been employed by
Potter Pak in Coudersport.
She loved sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. In her younger years, she enjoyed volleyball,
T-ball and softball. Her greatest love was her family and her beloved
pets. Teresa was a very giving person. Her last gift was to be a tissue and organ
donor.
Surviving are a sister, Tammy J. (James “Bo”) Gross of
Roulette; three brothers, Tyrone L. Emig, William E. (Susan) Emig, and Tracey
Emig, all of York; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was predeceased by a
brother, Todd M. Emig.
In keeping with Teresa’s wishes, there will be no public
visitation or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Teresa’s name made be made
to an SPCA or other animal care facility of the donor’s choice.
Teresa’s family has entrusted her care to the Virgil L.
