Comment issues

Some recent stories have sparked strong reactions. I have received many emails today stating that comments would not be accepted. I'm not sure what the issue is. I have changed a few settings to hopefully correct the problem. If you still have issues, just send me an email (with your name, please) and I will manually insert them.
