I am reaching out to you this evening after being taken off guard by an article published on the Wellsville Regional News website this afternoon. The article states that PEF is endorsing Gail Richardson for Allegany County Legislator. This endorsement is coming from our Regional 2 Office out of Hornell, it is NOT coming from our Local Division and its members. I would like to clarify that our members and officers were never contacted or consulted on this endorsement. As a Union representing local management within Allegany County, we feel we should not endorse any candidate running for County Office. We feel it is each members right to exercise their right to vote and let them have their own political views. I have relayed our dismay and unhappiness to the PEF Administration and have asked to have this endorsement rescinded.
