Today, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Trooper Craig Foglia with his wife Kristina, several State Troopers, EMS workers, and members from the U of R Public Safety and the Medical Team who treated Craig, walked with him out of the hospital and into his truck.
Craig will be recovering at home with his wife and family and would appreciate his privacy.
The State Police would like to thank all of the Staff at Strong Hospital who took great care of Craig during his time there.
Trooper Foglia was critically injured when his patrol vehicle was struck from behind while conducting a traffic stop on I-86 in Steuben County.
